Chief Operating Officer – Marine Conversion & Repair
Job Purpose: Formulate, Strategize, Drive, Direct and Control the Operation Division to achieve operational excellence, to bring profits and to position the company as a deepwater hub and provider fo dry-docking & LNG services in the region in its quest to be a leading marine and heavy engineering organization of choice.
Qualification: Degree in Engineering discipline.
Nationality: Any Nationality. Age group: Between 40 ~ 55 years.
Experience: At least 20 years experience in a Heavy Engineering or Maritime Industry with 5 years in a Senior Managerial position.
Responsibilities:
Operational Business Strategies (via JV/Mergers/Alliances/Acquisitions),
Operational Excellence (strategize & synergize operational activities, business and support units etc)
Operational Improvement Initiatives (policies, procedures, infrastructure etc),
Cost Control (exercise prudent control on actual vs budget),
Performance Review (project delays, cost-overruns, customers dissatisfaction etc),
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) – develop & maintain biz relationships with authorities, customers, partners & associates.
Capability-Building (ensure & meet biz objectives & fulfill biz obligations to customers)
HSE initiatives (lead & implementation of all HSE initiatives)
Work Culture (create & maintain a healthy, conducive work culture, cohesiveness and commitment among all staff)
Leadership (provide leadership, direction, guidance and motivate).
