I have worked at freelance writing, have written my own book, and have been hired as a marketing consultant for companies. However, the real money is in working as your own copywriter. A copywriter will write ads, and create articles that produce results in the market place. Why would you ever want to work for anyone when you can be your own boss? This book will show you how to break into this business, and provide you everything you need to make money online.

This book is not hype its about making money with a proven technique.

-- Its Possible!
In addition to the other comments about this book's shortcomings, i.e., outdated, not enough information to really make money with affiliate marketing, too simplistic, boring to read, etc. - I'd like to add:

Contains too much "filler" - information you can get on the Internet for free.

Even the most recent version is totally clueless when it comes to using Social Media Marketing.

If you're still curious, save your money, go to the library and borrow the book. -- Too Much Filler, Clueless About Social Media Marketing
Rosalind Gardner out did herself with this book. Gardner's earlier book, "The Super Affiliate Handbook" is her most talked about but, "Making a Fortune Promoting Other People's Stuff Online" is better written and focuses on promoting other peoples stuff. Her earlier book is more general affiliate marketing information although the layout of subject content is similar. I found her Super Affiliate book missed some points she tried to make or totally never answered the theme of the chapter and wandered off the topic. With Make a Fortune, Gardner has better organized her information and presents it in a readable manner. The book covers the topic well and has plenty of references to get you started. There are a couple of product recommendation I suggest you investigate prior to purchasing as I found them less than desireable. For example, the Affiliate Organizer software, in my opinion, is a badly written database program that you would be better off with Gardner's alternate suggestion of using a spreadsheet for your affiliate recordkeeping. I find that product recommendations by some affiliate marketers is more a,"scratch mine, and I'll scratch yours" proposition where the individual may not have throughly tested the product. That aside, "How to make a Fortune Promoting Other People's Stuff Online" is a great value and well written in addition it is far less expensive then the "Super Affiliate Handbook" while covering almost the same ground. -- Just put it to work
I thought from the title of the book that I was going to learn how to become an affiliate marketer. I think it offers more in search engine optimization and how to build and optimize a website. It doesn't explain precisely how the process works technically. I give an A+ for a great hook in a title, but this book is not complete by no means. Maybe her other book is more complete, but I probably won't chance it. In summary, after reading this book, I don't feel ready to go out and pursue affiliate marketing. -- Title of Book is Misleading
This book will give you a headache and make your eyes blur. Totally no focus whatsoever and written like a dictionary. Basically it is still up to you to figure affiliate marketing out cause she ain't telling.
